Morocco makes record cocaine seizure
[MAGHAREBIA] Moroccan authorities seized a record 226 kilos of cocaine and incarceratedDon't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out! six narcos in the Marrakesh area, MAP reported on Friday (September 5th). The drugs, said to be worth more than 20 million euros, were found Thursday night hidden in cases of fish inside a refrigerated truck that had come from the south of the country. The cocaine was destined for sale abroad, AFP reported. In other drug news at the week-end, Moroccan police on Saturday arrested two men at the Casablanca international airport. They were travelling from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Cotonou, Benin when police discovered 6,300 kg of highly concentrated cocaine in their suitcases. 6.3 tons of cocaine? In their suitcases?
