Iran Navy Saves Chinese Freighter from Pirate Attack
[ABNA.IR] The Chinese freighter asked for emergency help from the Iranian fleet when it encountered with 5 pirate boats equipped with light and semi-heavy assault weapons.Shortly after the emergency call, Iran's "Bayandor" destroyer rushed to the scene and foiled the hijacking of the Chinese ship. The ship had set sail from Singapore and was bound to the Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... n port city of Jeddah. The Chinese vessel left the area without suffering any damage. The 31st fleet, comprising Bayandor destroyer and Bandar Abbas military ship, has set sail for the high seas as part of Iran's plans to protect the country's cargo ships and oil tankers in different shipping routes. This is the second time the Iranian servicemen could retake a Chinese ship hijacked by pirates. Back in July, Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said the country's naval forces have saved vessels from around 20 countries in the international waters from pirate attacks.
