Six killed in blast outside mosque in Afghanistan
[DAWN] A kaboom killed six people and maimed 12 shortly after they left a mosque following Friday prayers in Afghanistan's Baghlan province, a police front man said.Donuts, coffee. Ham, eggs. Chicken, dumplings. Mosque, kaboom. Jawad Basharat, front man for Baghlan's police chief, said the Friday blast occurred just outside the mosque. He said it wasn't clear who carried out the attack. Baghlan is in Afghanistan's north, which is generally less violent than the south and east. About the best expression of a relative term I've seen in a while... Elsewhere, Din Mohammad Darwish, the front man for the governor of Pashtun-infested Logar province, said four police were killed during a battle with Taliban murderous Moslems on Thursday.
