Tunisia PM rejects presidential bid
[MAGHAREBIA] Tunisian Interim Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa ended speculation about a possible presidential run, saying he would instead focus on ensuring fair elections."I decided, for the sake of the national interest, and in deference to the responsibility that I agreed to assume, and to ethical commitments made with the people, to focus my attention on the end of the transitional period and... transparent and meaningful elections, and not to run for president, "Jomaa said in a speech to the Tunisian people on Wednesday (September 17th).
