Woman among at least 11 injured in Quetta blast
[DAWN] QUETTA: At least 11 people including a woman were maimed when a powerful kaboom took place in Jinnah Town neighbourhood of the Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... capital late on Saturday night. The blast took place in Panj Fitti area of Jinnah Town through a time device planted in a bicycle. The kaboom was so powerful it was heard from far distances and in the suburbs of Quetta city and broke glasses of the nearby buildings. CCPO Quetta Razzaq Cheema told media representatives that the unknown assailants hid the IED bomb in a bicycle. He said that the security has been increased in the area to avoid anymore untoward incidents. The inured have been shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta, where an emergency is imposed.
