Conservative Elephants In Nepal, Branded Racist
A Nepalese communist community organizer was killed in a wild elephant attack in the Bara district of south-eastern Nepal on Sunday, eKantipur reports. Ganga Bal, 35, was a local leader in the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), not to be confused with the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) or the Communist Party of Nepal (Marxist-Leninist). She was a member of the CPN-Maoist State Committee of Bhojpura. Bal was out on a morning walk in the little village of Amalekhgunj when the attack occurred.
