Ebola test results negative for Dallas County deputy
DALLAS -- The Texas Department of State Health Services says negative results were returned from a lab in Austin Thursday, indicating that a Dallas County deputy who had fallen ill does not have the Ebola virus.
Dallas County's Sgt. Michael Monnig was taken from a Frisco CareNow clinic Wednesday afternoon to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas after he had some, but not all, symptoms of Ebola.
Just before 3 p.m. Thursday, state health officials announced that all results had come back negative for the virus.
Sounds like it was a simple stomach bug - no fever. Glad it was clear. Also glad they got to test their response systems in a non-Dem area to show em how its done.
