3000 explosives, land mines planted in Jurf Al-Sakhar
[Iraq News] On Sunday, the Provincial Council of Babel announced that there are about 3000 explosive devices and land mines planted in and around Jurf Al-Sakhar.The head of council, Raad Hamza Al-Jabouri informed IraqiNews: [it would] be too early to talk about the residents of Jurf Al-Sakhar returning to their homes. ISIS has planted about 3000 explosive devices and land mines in all over the district, and cleaning the area would take more than just a month or two. Noteworthy, the security committee of northern Babel previously announced that Iraqi forces had completely liberated the district of Jurf Al-Sakhar, and also that the army forces had removed and destroyed 350 explosive devices and land mines planted in and around the district.
