Gen. Allen: Assad not part of political outcome in Syria
[Iran Press TV] The US envoy for the coalition to counter ISIL says the United States and its allies ultimately seek a "political outcome" in Syria which would not include  Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneckal-Assad Before going into the family business Pencilneck was an eye doctor. If he'd stuck with it he'd have had a good practice by now... . Gen. John Allen spoke to Asharq al-Awsat daily on Saturday about the US-led coalition's strategy in Iraq and Syria, and their plans to train and equip the "moderate" Syrian myrmidons.
