Iraqi forces liberate strategic road in Tikrit
[Iraq News] On Tuesday, a source in Baghdad Operations Command announced that the Iraqi security troops liberated Al-Mothanna road in northwest of Salahuddin province.The source informed IraqiNews: âIraqi army forces managed to liberate Al-Mothanna area from ISIS militants, and Iraqi special units are destroying explosives which were planted by ISIS on the side of the Al-Mothanna road which connects Samarra and Thirthar town.â Noteworthy, a source in Salahuddin police stated earlier on Tuesday, that the Iraqi troops managed to liberate a strategic road from ISIS militants which connects Samaraa and Biji districts.
