MILF members linked to BIFF attacks
 Police are trying to verify reports that some members of the former militant group Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) may have been involved in recent attacks by jihadist Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) in Sultan Kudarat province. Police have relayed this information to members of the International Monitoring Team which is overseeing the cease-fire deal between the MILF and the Aquino government.The BIFF, a group that splintered off from the MILF, attacked military and civilian targets in President Quirino town and nearby areas.
