Iraqi forces free al-Askari district near Tikrit from ISIS control
[Iraq News] On Sunday the Official Iraqi TV channel announced that Iraqi security forces liberated the al-Askari district from ISIS control after heavy clashes in Baiji and the surrounding areas north of Tikrit. The channel al-Iraqiya reported that "security forces liberated al-Askari area from ISIS militants."Earlier today, Babel Operations Command liberated a small town, located in east of Baiji and have set plans to head towards Amiriyat al-Fallujah to secure the areas surrounding Baiji.
