Army Nabs Four Terrorist Kingpins in Chtaura
[AnNahar] The army reportedly detained overnight four terrorist kingpins in the Bekaa town of Chtaura.The arrest occurred while the four men were passing in the town, Voice of Leb radio (93.3) reported on Monday. Security sources told al-Manar TV that a Syrian terrorist, Yasser al-Ayrouti, and three others were detained in West Bekaa as they were on their way from the outskirts of the northeastern border town of Arsal. The detainees are comprised of two prominent leaders from the Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... , a leader from the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), and another from the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra ...the current nom de guerre of al-Qaeda in the Levant, which isn't to be confused with al-Qaeda in Iraq and the Levant... Front. The army has come under growing attacks across Leb by Lions of Islam who accuse it of colluding with Hizbullah ... Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistanceand purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory... in its intervention in the Syrian conflict on the side of the regime. The military has been carrying out a major crackdown in several areas across Leb, the latest in the Bekaa over the weekend, where it kicked off a major security operation.
