The suspect admitted during questioning that he left for Turkey on October 5th, 2014 with three of his friends, and he and two of the friends decided to continue to Syria in order to join the Islamic State group. Magasmah and his two friends, also from Yafa an-Nasweriyye, infiltrated Syria and arrived at an Islamic State group registration camp where they were drafted into the terror organization.
