Soldier Accused of Abusing Prisoners
A soldier accused of abusing Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad has been arraigned on charges including maltreatment of subordinates, dereliction of duties, and committing indecent acts with detainees, the military said Friday. Spc. Megan Ambuhl was arraigned Wednesday, the military said in a statement. At the hearing, her attorney did not enter a plea, the statement said.
