NPA seizes jail warden in Philippines
 New People's Army militants seized a jail warden in the southern Philippines. Police said that Jose Coquilla was heading to church with his wife on a private vehicle when militants intercepted them late Tuesday in Panabo City in Davao del Norte province. Coquilla's wife was freed by the militants. There was no immediate statement from the separatist militants.Coquilla's abduction came a day after insurgents clashed with troops in Agusan del Sur’s Buenavista town.
