Bomb blast kills, wounds 16 security elements in al-Ishaqi
[IraqiNews.com] On Monday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that 3 deaths and 13 injuries have been reported in a house kaboom took place in an area in southern Tikrit.The source told IraqiNews,?This afternoon, a bomb which was emplaced inside a house in al-Ishaqi area in the district of Balad, located 80 km south of Tikrit, went off during an operation to inspect the house by the security forces backed by volunteers,? adding that, ?Three police elements have been killed and 13 others were maimed in the kaboom.? ?The casualties included the commander of al-Ishaqi police force, Col.
