Fire exchange along Working Boundary kills 14-year-old girl
[DAWN] A 14-year-old girl was killed on Saturday in Sialkot's Shakargarh sector in an exchange of fire between Chenab Rangers personnel and the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along the Working Boundary, sources said.Fourteen-year-old Samira was a resident of Sialkot's Aasi Nagar and following her death, panic prevailed in the area with locals starting to move to safer locations, sources in the Chenab Rangers said. Moreover, eight-year-old Mursaleen of Bhika Chak was also injured as a result of exchange of fire in Shakargarh sector. Indian woman killed in heavy Pakistani shelling in Kathua sector In India, police officer Rajesh Kumar said Pakistani shelling in the Kathua sector killed a woman and wounded seven villagers.
