Roadside bomb hits AU convoy in Mogadishu
At least 1 person is known to has been killed in a powerful roadside bomb that tore through a convoy of African Union vehicles in Mogadishu, witnesses have on Thursday said.
A resident, who declined to be named, told Shabelle Media by phone that the landmine damaged AU personal carrier at Harmar-Bile village in Mogadishu’s Wardhigley district, adding that a person died.
It is so far unclear the exact figures of the casualties on African Union Mission in Somalia known as AMIOSM, forces from the bomb attack. Somalia government troops have arrived and sealed off at troubled area and also lunched manhunt operation near the exploded area but no arrests were made so far.
