Soldiers wounded in blast in northern Somalia
Blood and body parts littered the ground outside police station in northern Somalia, the grisly result of bomb blast that witnesses have said, left 4 soldiers wounded in Bosaso town of northeastern Bari region.Witnesses said that armed men, thought to be Al Shabaab militants threw 2 grenades into police station, controlling by forces from Somalia’s semi-autonomous Puntland state, adding that 4 soldiers were seriously hurt during the raid. In the aftermath of the attack, the perpetrators reportedly escaped from the troubled area before they were arrested, according to locals who spoke to Shabelle Media in Mogadishu via phone from the town.
