Landmine kills two security personnel
[DAWN] Two security personnel were killed and three others injured in a roadside blast in lower  Kurram Agency...home of an intricately interconnected web of poverty, ignorance, and religious fanaticism, where the laws of cause and effect are assumed to be suspended, conveniently located adjacent to Tora Bora... on Tuesday. Political administration officials said the kaboom occurred when a vehicle carrying security personnel to Shaheedano Dhand hit a landmine near the Nawab Shaheed checkpost. Two coppers died and three suffered injuries. The vehicle was destroyed in the blast. The injured were taken to the Combined Military Hospital in Tal. Security forces soon after the incident cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. However, a clean conscience makes a soft pillow... no arrest was reported till late in night.
