Joint forces kill 16 ISIS elements southern Tikrit

The Ministry of Defense announced Wednesday, that 16 ISIS elements have been killed including jacket wallahs in southern Tikrit.The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, A joint force consisting of Samarra operations forces and elements of al-Hashed al-Shabi have managed to conduct a security operation in the areas of Sur-Nash, Sayed-Gharib and Albu-Niysan. The operation resulted in killing 16 turbans including a number of suicide bombers, and destroying a number of vehicles that belonged to the group, the statement added.
