Four Abu Sayyaf camps captured, six militants killed
 Philippine soldiers captured four Abu Sayyaf camps in their ongoing operations on Basilan in Mindanao. Army spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Harold Cabunoc said that elite military troops involved in the campaign killed six militants and injured others. He said a soldier on an armored personnel carrier was injured when an improvised bomb went off. Cabunoc said the four camps taken were located in remote villages in the town of Sumisip.
