Policewoman killed in Herat explosion
 [Khaama (Afghanistan)] An Afghan policewoman was killed following an kaboom in western Herat...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... province of Afghanistan on Wednesday afternoon. According to the local government officials, the incident took place on Herat-Islam Qala highway targeting a check post of the police forces. The officials further added two coppers were also injured following the kaboom. The type of the kaboom is not clear so far and the police forces have launched an investigation in connection to the incident, the officials said.
