AQIM claims killing of senior MNLA member
[MAGHAREBIA] Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) grabbed credit for the killing of a senior member of the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad (MNLA).In a statement sent to Alakhbar on Thursday (February 5th), the group said that Baye Ag Hamdi was assassinated for collaborating with French forces in northern Mali.
