The Kerry medals
Link is to PDF file at johnkerry.com of the records of his Purple Hearts, Silver Star and Bronze Star. If you look at the signature on the Bronze Star citation you'll find it was signed by Secretary of the Navy John Lehman. Lehman was secretary of the Navy from 1981 to 1987.
