Female defense volunteer shot in Narathiwat
[Bangkok Post] A female village defense volunteer was shot and seriously hurt in an attack in Narathiwat province on Sunday afternoon. Eyewitnesses said that two men arrived on a motorcycle and the pillion passenger opened fire at Apichaya Chaichana, 30, hitting her in the left ribcage, before fleeing.
