[ARA] On Monday, the Kurdish anti-terrorism units in Jenders area near the city of Afrin in Aleppo province, northern Syria, tossed in the calaboose
Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out!
what they described as a "terrorist cell" who raised the flag of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
on a primary school, a member of the People's Protection Units (YPG) told ARA News.

The cell was reportedly preparing to detonate explosives inside the primary school.

The source pointed out that the Kurdish security forces of the Asayish in Afrin received information about the suspects movements around the school two days ago, before arresting them.

"The Kurdish forces arrested 30 pro-ISIS suspects, most of whom members of one family, while the Kurdish counter-terrorism units discovered a number of weapons and bombs in the houses of the suspects," the source told ARA News, pointing out that interrogations are still ongoing.

Noteworthy, a printed announcement was distributed in Jenders' streets days before the incident, under the banner of the Islamic State, urging people to raise against the Kurdish forces in Afrin and its environs.
