Ten policemen injured in NPA ambushes
 [Manila Times] Ten policemen were injured in separate attacks by New People's Army militants in Mindanao. Authorities said the militants torched seven delivery trucks they intercepted on the highway in Quezon town in Bukidnon province. A group of policemen who responded to the weekend attack were ambushed and seven were wounded. They said dozens of militants from Guerrilla Front 53 and Guerrilla Front 6 led by three commanders -— Rachel Daguman, Reynante Tumbalang and Randy Bayot —- led the daring attacks.
