Pak mullahs against electoral reforms
  • Maulana Abdul Malik, president of Pakistan's Jamiat Ittehad Ulema, has demanded that President Musharraf's decision to return to a joint electorate system should be withdrawn. Maulana Malik described the electoral reforms as "disastrous for the unity of Muslims."
    Can't say we're real familiar with the provisions of the reform, but given its opposition, we're all for it.
