ISIS elements killed, injured in air strikes by international coalition in Mosul

[IraqiNews.com] A source within the Kurdish Peshmerga forces announced on Thursday, that dozens of ISIS elements have been killed or maimed in air strikes by the US-led international coalition targeting ISIS posts in djinn-infested Mosul

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "The international coalition aircrafts launched intensive air raids targeted the strongholds, gatherings and headquarters of the ISIS group in al-Noran Waterfalls and Khursapad areas in the city of Mosul."

The source, who requested anonymity, added, "The raids resulted in killing and wounding dozens of the terrorist group's elements."

The international coalition led by the United States has been implementing air strikes targeting sites belonging to ISIS in Iraq and Syria for months, without revealing the size of ISIS human causalities.

The source informed IraqiNews, "The Peshmerga forces have managed to repel an attack by the ISIS group turbans on the area of Khazr, located in eastern Mosul," pointing out that, "The turbans used heavy weapons during the attack."

"The international coalition warplanes have backed the Peshmerga in battling the holy warriors," the source added.

"ISIS Death Eaters have carried out another attack on sites for the Peshmerga in the area of Ba'shiqah, however, the attack was foiled, and their ranks have been forced to withdraw when faced by heavy artillery fire by the Peshmerga forces."
