were detained by the Turkish Army Border Command on Saturday, the Turkish army announced in a statement released on Sunday. According to the statement, 92 Syrian citizens were also caught as they were trying to enter Turkey.

Thousands of foreigners have joined the ISIL and other terror groups in Syria and Iraq, many of them crossing through Turkey.

Turkey stands accused of providing logistical support for the ISIL bandidos holy warriors and enabling their passage through its soil. Ankara is known as a staunch supporter of the ISIL which fights the governments of Syria and Iraq.
