"In response to information suggesting that terrorist groups have been undergoing logistic and hostile preparations along the 1564-meter-high Mkheirmeh Mountain, an Army force carried out a swift raid against" the terrorists, a communiqué by the army said according to the National News Agency. "This move comes within the frame of pre-emptive military operations being implemented by army units to terminate terrorist groups and to prevent them from infiltrating army posts and assaulting citizens," the statement added.
