Puntland official survives assassination attempt
GALKAIO, Somalia -- A senior official with the Puntland's government has survived an assassination bid in Galkayo town on Wednesday, officials told Garowe Online. A land mine buried along a toll road in the town targeted a car carrying Ahmed Muse, the deputy commissioner for Mudug region. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
