BugMeNot Gets Booted, Restored - Whew!
via Wired News (h/t Lucianne) EFLRachel Metz - 09:30 AM Aug. 23, 2004 PT BugMeNot.com, a site that helps web users get around website registration roadblocks, is back up after disappearing for several days because of server hosting issues. In an e-mail late Friday afternoon, the site's creator -- an Australian who has refused to disclose his identity for fear of legal repercussions -- wrote, "Bugmenot went down because our host pulled the plug inexplicably.
