'Punished' wife ends up in hospital
A Jordanian man forced his wife to sit on the bonnet of their car as he drove through the streets of the capital to "punish" her after they had an argument, Al Dustour newspaper reported on Wednesday. As a result, the 22-year-old woman fell and was admitted to hospital with numerous broken bones and a concussion, the daily said, adding that she was in "moderate condition".
