Call for strike in Baluchistan flops
  • A shutter-down strike call given by the Pakistan-Afghan Defence Council received a lukewarm response from the traders and business community in Balochistan on Friday. All shopping centres and markets in Quetta and other parts of the province remained opened throughout the day. The council gave the strike call in the province in protest against the ban imposed on five militant groups and arrests of their leaders and activists by the government last Saturday.
"What if they gave a strike and nobody came?"
