GNC member kidnapped in Tripoli
[Libya Herald] The member for Tarhouna of the continuing General National Congress (GNC), Salem Ali Al-Hamali, has been kidnapped in Tripoli...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... He was seized yesterday evening by unidentified gunnies. Condemning the abduction, the GNC has demanded he be released immediately. It said that those who had taken him would be held responsible for his safety. The public prosecutor has been ordered to open an investigation into the case ensure the kidnappers were caught, while the Tripoli "government" has been told to do everything to find and free him.
