The changing of an old Southern Baptist Church
| Long story at WaPo about a group of Arab Baptists in Tennessee buying out a dying old-line Baptist Church. The writer avoids the usual WaPo nonsense for the most part. I was particularly intrigued how the new pastor, an Arab man, and his wife, a Tennessee gal, spent two decades converting Muslims in the Middle East to Christianity. Worth the read. |
