JI-JUI alliance clinches majority in Chitral
[DAWN] The JI-JUI-F alliance has clinched a clear majority in the local body polls in Chitral.As per unofficial results, out of 24 seats of district council, JUI-F got seven, JI six, PTI five, PPP three and APML two, while an independent candidate also secured victory. Out of 14 members of tehsil council Chitral, JI got six, JUI-F four, PPP and PTI two each, while in Mastuj tehsil JUI-F and APML got three seats each out of 10 while PTI got two seats and PPP one seat, respectively.
