Thousands flee into Turkey from Syria as Kurds fight Islamic state
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Thousands of people crossed from Syria into ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... on Wednesday to flee a battle pitting Islamist gunnies against Kurdish and opposition forces for the Syrian border town of Tel Abyad. A Rooters photographer at the scene said many of them were women and kiddies and they had entered Turkey through a make-shift border crossing between official gates.
