Islam Army abducts senior regime official: statement
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Islam Army, key rebel group in eastern Ghouta district near Damascus, said in statement posted online it has kidnapped a senior regime official early Wednesday, asserting the abductee is not the Justice minister as media outlets circulated.Najm al-Ahmed, Syrian regime's Justice minister, hurried to Syrian TV to deny abduction news saying, "Here I am." Jaysh al-Islam, or Islam Army, said it's fighters had succeeded in kidnapping top regime official early Wednesdays after a successful operation in Damascus.
