Pakistan's arms not for decoration, Khawaja Asif tells India
[DAWN] Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Monday said if forced into war by India, Pakistain will respond in a befitting manner, adding that "our arms are not meant for decoration."Surely I'm not the only person who's noticed that Islam = Truculence? "If need be, we will use them [arms] against India," said Asif. Or perhaps it's Truculence Leads to Islam? That would explain the number of jailhouse and other loser conversions. Speaking at a book-launch ceremony in Islamabad, the defence minister severely criticised a recent series of hostile statements from Indian politicians. Nawaz is in power. It must be time for another Pak-Indian war. "By issuing provocative statements, Indian politicians want to distract Pakistain's attention from the war on terror," he said, adding that India had been "promoting terrorism in Pakistain."  They're just itching to nuke somebody, probably Delhi.The defence minister said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf... had placed the recent "threatening statements" from India before United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone...
