Egypt army says it foiled attack, killed 7 terrorist suspects
[AlAhram] The army killed suspects it says were going to carry out a major attackEgypt's army says it has killed seven suspected Lions of Islam who were were planning to carry out a major attack, the military front man said in a statement Wednesday. Brigadier General Mohammed Samir said forces had received intelligence information that "terrorists" had "transferred weapons and ammunition" to Al-Moqata'a village near Sheikh Zuweid "in preparation for carrying out a major attack" against security forces in North Sinai.
