Twin bombings in Nigeria kill 44
 Two Boko Haram bombs exploded at a crowded mosque and an elite Muslim restaurant in the central Nigerian city of Jos, killing 44 people. 67 other people were injured and were being treated at hospitals.The blast at the Yantaya Mosque happened as leading cleric Sani Yahaya of the Jama'atu Izalatul Bidia organization, which preaches peaceful co-existence of all faiths, was addressing a crowd during Ramadan.
