Woman stripped publicly in India-held Kashmir
[DAWN] SRINAGAR: A woman was allegedly stripped naked by a gang of five persons, including an Indian army soldier, in Udhampur district of India-held Kashmire, according to a report on Hindustan Times website."A woman was stripped in full public view by five persons in Jaganoo area of Udhampur," Udhampur District Commissioner said. "The woman was intercepted by the gang as she was riding pillion on a cycle of violence. When she resisted, the accused overpowered her and stripped her publicly," added the District Commissioner. A video of the incident was also recorded by the accused, which has since gone viral on messaging service, Whatsapp. Police have started the paperwork but haven't done much else and has started its investigation, claiming to have tossed in the calaboose Maw!
