Two-day ban on pillion-riding
 [DAWN] The Sindh government on Tuesday imposed a ban on pillion-riding in Bloody Karachi...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... , Hyderabad and Sukkur for two days for the security of Yaum-e-Ali processions that are taken out on the 21st of Ramazan, an official said. The official at the Sindh home department said that the provincial administration on the advice of police authorities banned pillion-riding under Section 144 (power to issue order absolute at once in urgent cases of nuisance or apprehended danger) of the criminal procedure code and the ban would be effective from Wednesday midnight for two days -- July 8 and 9.
