Hekmatyar Urges Afghans To Boycott US "Agent" Elections
Taliban-ally Gulbuddin Hekmatyar urged Afghans to boycott next month's presidential elections, saying the candidates were representatives of the United States and its ally Britain. "Boycott the Afghan elections because the candidates are representatives of (U.S. President George W) Bush and (British Prime Ministe Tony) Blair," the renegade warlord said in an audio tape aired by Arabic Al Jazeera television on Wednesday. "Your country is again under foreign occupation...
