NPA gun down two suspected informants in Mindanao
 [Tempo] New People's Army militants gunned down a former member of the Philippine military who was walking alone yesterday morning in Oas, Albay. Victim Ramil Oray was a former member of the 9th Infantry Division, based in Barangay Tula-Tula Grande, Ligao City.An initial investigation showed the incident happened at about 7 a.m. while Oray was on his way home. The armed militants blocked his way and then shot and killed him. The suspects fled into the hills. Police said the militants suspected the former soldier to be providing information to the military about their activities. Meanwhile, another group of militants gunned down a farm hand whom they suspected to be a military informant Friday night in Lagonoy, Camarines Sur. A police report said that the victim working at the farm when the suspects arrived, poked guns at him, tied his hands, and shot him. The insurgents casually walked away after the execution.
