Chad says killed 117 Boko Haram fighters in two-week campaign
[AlAhram] Chad said on Thursday its forces had killed 117 Boko Haram... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... turbans during a two-week military campaign aimed at clearing islands on Lake Chad used by the hard boyz as hideouts and bases to launch attacks. Chad has deployed thousands of soldiers alongside troops from neighbours Nigeria, Cameroon ...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there... and Niger to tackle the krazed killer group whose six-year insurgency has killed thousands. "We killed 117 Boko Haram fighters during the two-week operation. We lost two men and several maimed," Colonel Azem Bermandoa, front man for the Chadian army, said.
